My name is Yuying, an artist and designer from China whose work lives between motion, illustration, and imagination.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Beijing Film Academy, majoring in Illustration and Motion Media Design, and later pursued both an MFA in Illustration and an MA in Motion Media Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
My practice is shaped by a love of visual storytelling and a fascination with the romantic and the surreal — worlds where light, color, and emotion intertwine. I aim to create imagery that feels poetic and dreamlike, suspended between reality and fantasy.
During my graduate studies, I joined Laundry as a summer intern, and after graduation, I returned as a full-time artist. My time there deepened my passion for blending design, animation, and narrative. I have since continued to pursue independent artistic projects, exploring new ways to merge imagination with motion and emotion.
