A storyboard exploration for a campaign concept, focused on clarity, comedic timing, and cinematic pacing.
At Laundry Studio, we received a Washington Lottery pitch with an extremely compressed timeline: one 30-second spot plus three 15-second spots, delivered in a four-day sprint. I was the sole storyboard artist, responsible for the complete storyboard package.
To move fast while keeping the work cohesive, I built a hybrid workflow: I used generative AI (Midjourney, Kling) to rapidly explore backgrounds, textures, small elements, and motion tests, while hand-drawing the key characters to maintain consistent acting and design.
Outcome: Full boards + pitch deck + motion explorations delivered on time—at a level of completeness that read like it came from a larger team.
Premise (high-level): Two girls realize the odds are better than they expected—and spiral into a playful rivalry to secure their chance.
Confidentiality note: This work was created for a pitch. The original script and certain client-facing materials aren’t publicly shareable, so I’m only describing the premise at a high level and showing selected frames to demonstrate storytelling, staging, and process.
